Helping Employers & Employees Understand the True Cost of Retirement Plans

Did you know?

The Department of Labor requires retirement plan fiduciaries to conduct periodic benchmarking, typically every 3 to 5 years, to ensure fees and services remain reasonable and in the best interest of participants. This process compares plan costs, investment performance, and features against similar plans to reduce fiduciary liability.

Yet in reality, many plans go unexamined.

With 15 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, I’ve seen firsthand how often these benefits are overlooked. Fees are often buried across multiple disclosures are difficult to find and even harder to understand.

At the same time, the cost of health insurance continues to rise, becoming one of the largest expenses for both employers and employees.

That’s why retirement plans matter more than ever.

When designed properly, they’re not just a long-term savings vehicle they can also serve as a strategic tool to help offset rising costs in other areas. A well-structured plan can improve employee financial wellness, increase retention, and create efficiencies that benefit both the business and its people.

Despite this, many employees still don’t fully understand what they’re paying to save for retirement or how to make the most of it.

That’s where I come in.
