meet: Jacob Uithoven

What’s important to you?

If someone looked at your bank account, your calendar, and what consumes your energy, would they see a clear picture of what brings you joy, or is there a gap between your current reality and your ultimate vision?

I believe money is simply a tool; fuel to be used for experiencing the things that matter.

I work with the builders, the visionaries, and the families who refuse to leave their lives to chance. You don't need a financial advisor to judge your spending or tell you to stop enjoying life. You need a partner to help you identify exactly what gives you energy, make targeted adjustments, and architect a financial system to go after it.

By managing the complexities of your wealth and faithfully stewarding the resources you’ve worked hard for, I align your capital with your family’s unique mission. I handle the heavy lifting of financial stewardship so you can devote your energy to what truly matters: your family, your values, and the life you want to live.

Whether your goal is to transition out of your career on your own terms, host annual destination retreats to build lasting traditions, fund that passion project you've always talked about, or just spend more time on the golf course, let's design a plan that confidently pursues your passions and takes your vision from blueprint to reality.

Outside of work

Church involvement: Beyond attending our local church, I serve on the Benevolence Team, providing compassionate financial assistance to individuals navigating unexpected hardships. If you are in the Spring Lake or Grand Haven area and facing financial hardship, please reach out to see if we can help.

Family: My wife, Evie and two kids, Roman and Eden are the ultimate "Why" behind my own Intentional Life Blueprint. They are God’s greatest blessings, constantly reminding me that time is our most valuable asset. Seeing the world through their eyes is a daily masterclass in staying present.

Basketball: While I'm not getting any younger, I make it a priority to hit the local courts at least once a week. For me, basketball is more than just a workout, it’s about discipline, teamwork, and building community here on the Lakeshore. If you’re as passionate about hoops as I am and need an extra guy for your run, reach out! .

Coaching: Did I mention I love basketball? My passion for the game doesn't stop at playing; it extends to teaching. As an assistant coach for the Spring Lake Girls Varsity basketball team, I get to invest in the next generation of local leaders to build confidence, execute a game plan, and work together as a team.

Mountain Biking: What started as a way to get outside during 2020 has evolved into a passion. There is nothing quite like the thrill of hitting a perfect tabletop jump or finding the rhythm of a flowy trail to completely clear my mind.

Electric Biking: You might assume a mountain biker would be a purist, but e-bikes are the ultimate life-hack for living in a beach town. They are incredibly convenient, undeniably fun, and satisfy a need for speed that my mountain bike just can't match on flat pavement.

Dogs: They say a dog is man’s best friend, and I’m lucky enough to have two: a German Shepherd and a Husky. I love throwing on a pair of rollerblades and letting them pull me down the street at top speed. It is highly exhilarating, slightly terrifying, and the best way to burn off their endless energy.

Traveling: I deeply believe that money is simply the fuel for the moments that matter. For my family, that means exploring new places together. Whether we are taking a quick weekend mini-getaway or planning our next major adventure, traveling is how we disconnect from the daily grind and actually cash in our "Return on Life." It is our favorite way to live intentionally and build memories that outlast any investment portfolio.
